The machine has undergone a complete general overhaul, including: inspection of components and repair/replacement of parts (feed gearbox, carriage, tailstock, headstock); spindle grinding and replacement of spindle bearings; renewal of the bed and slideways (cross and tool); renewal of leadscrews and fabrication of new nuts; replacement of the electrical system; machine preparation for installation of 3-axis position encoders; adaptation to meet minimum health and safety requirements. Additionally, new safety handles have been installed, along with new safety signs and pictograms.
