Transport systems
Depending on customer requirements, transport systems can be moved on the floor or suspended from rails.
- For ergonomic solutions in manual installations, we recommend suspended cross conveyors (cross transport).
- In automated systems, chain conveyors are most commonly used. These run continuously and are an excellent solution for companies focusing on process quality and repeatability.
- For companies producing various products simultaneously—for example, with multiple spray booths in different colors—flexible solutions with non-powered conveyors are used. This is the most expensive solution.
All installations are custom-made to meet individual customer specifications. Continuous transport systems for overhead chain conveyors are designed and manufactured based on individual customer orders.
In this system, floor conveyors can also be produced to carry items such as flower pots or rims (see photo). ROMER also manufactures suspended transport systems.
Cross beams (cross transporters) are specifically designed and manufactured to suit the requirements of individual installations.
Use of a photoelectric sensor
The use of a photoelectric sensor in the detail area enables length measurement and, consequently, allows gun activation when the part enters its range, and immediate deactivation after painting. The photoelectric sensor is standard equipment. Identification of details by means of special markings.
