Base Frame: The base frame of the thread and profile rolling machine is constructed from welded steel sections, partially clad with sheet metal. The front section of the base houses the compartment for the process lubricant tank.

Main Drive: The main drive generates the rotational movement required for gear rolling. The drive motor is flange-mounted together with the Cyclo Drive gearbox directly to the base plate of the rolling spindle bearing. The rotational motion is transmitted via a Schmidt coupling to the rolling spindle. The machine operates within a speed range of 0 to 30 rpm, subdivided into 0 to 20 rpm for continuous operation (S1) and 20 to 30 rpm for intermittent operation (S4). Speed adjustment is infinitely variable via a frequency inverter.
