This UPS system is ideally suited for uninterrupted operation under demanding environmental conditions, such as those often found in industrial applications. It is suitable, among other uses, for stabilizing power supply systems.

The UPS unit consists of the Powerbridge (a flywheel with integrated generator) and a Uniblock (electromotor/generator block). The Uniblock supplies power to customer modules without grid faults. The Powerbridge serves as the energy storage unit.

In the event of a mains failure, the Powerbridge temporarily takes over the power supply (at full load, power supply is maintained for 39 seconds). Energy storage type PB60+ with a bridging time of 39 seconds.

A diesel engine is connected via a freewheel clutch. This means that, as soon as the engine reaches the speed of the Uniblock, it brings the generator up to synchronous speed and thus takes over the power supply. (At the same time, the Powerbridge is recharged with energy)
