The machine is installed in a pit.

Condition Description:
About half a year ago, the cross roller bearing of the Carnaghi was replaced.
Additionally, the Siemens components in the control cabinet were completely renewed at the end of 2023.
The machine is equipped with a probing system for tool measurement and an external Renishaw probe for workpiece measurement.
As a special feature, the machine is also fitted with a probe on the Z-axis (Z1-axis). This provides an accuracy and time advantage, since the tool does not need to be removed for measurement. However, this function is currently deactivated and should be overhauled before recommissioning.
Furthermore, the machine is equipped with a Rotomors six-jaw compensating chuck with centrifugal force compensation, which was completely overhauled in 2020/21.
