Description

The hydraulically operated and extremely robust stack cutter from PFI (virtually identical in construction to the DUPLO 490) delivers high performance and precision cuts, tailored for the on-demand market. This stack cutter is manufactured to the highest quality standards, offering high-speed cuts up to a width of 490mm and stack heights up to 70mm. Safety light barriers protect the operator during use, ensuring that no accidents can occur and preventing cutting if objects are in the cutting area. Additionally, the cutter is activated via a dual-button system that requires both hands, making sure no hand remains on the table. Simply set your cutting specifications on the user-friendly control panel. The back gauge is positioned via motor drive according to the digital display, with fine adjustments possible via manual handwheel. An illuminated cutting line shows precisely where the blade will cut. The foot pedal at the front of the machine firmly clamps the paper stack.

The system was in daily production until recently and is being sold due to an upgrade to a wider machine. Any tests are welcome. The machine underwent a complete hydraulic and electrical overhaul two years ago (costing approx. €4,000) and is practically like new and in flawless condition. Apart from the digital measurement display, which is simple in design, the system contains virtually no electronics, and the control is handled via plug-in relays, making it nearly indestructible. Various spare parts such as relays, limit switches, etc. are included in case replacement is ever needed.
