DM1100 2C – Edge Rounding Machine for Laser-cut, Plasma-cut, and Punched Parts

The DM1100 2C rounds the upper and lower edges of metal parts from a minimum size of 150 mm up to a length of 1100 mm IN A SINGLE PASS.

The first station processes the parts from below using two counter-rotating cross belts, while the second station processes the parts from above, also using two counter-rotating cross belts. The cross belts enable rounding of both the inner and outer edges of the workpieces.

Sharp edges on steel, stainless steel, and aluminum parts produced by laser cutting, punching, or shearing are removed.

Simultaneous processing of both sides of laser-cut or punched metal parts saves time and reduces production costs.

Another advantage of the DM1100 2C is its ability to process small parts from 50 mm. By folding up a table, the rotation direction of the upper conveyor belt changes automatically, bridging the gap of the first processing station, so that parts go directly to the second station. This means that small products from 50 mm up to 150 mm can be processed on one side only.

A further benefit is that the machine can edge round parts with protective film without damaging the film.
