Description of Units and Accessories (Basic)

The base frame structure is a monolithic construction made from thick-walled steel. It is reinforced with welded triangular steel plates across the entire machine bed, resulting in exceptional stability. The triangle shape with a wide base used for load-bearing components is the secret to ensuring long-term precision and stability.

The machine layout allows the user to achieve an optimized workflow while minimizing the required footprint. The base structure supports the machining unit with a balanced and secure foundation, offering particularly effective load distribution.

The mobile gantry-style aggregate carrier is constructed as a solid monoblock. It is positioned in the X-axis on precision-ground prismatic guides via linear ball bearing carriages. On this carrier, the machining unit is also mounted on prismatic, ground guides and linear ball bearing carriages.

Axis Motion:
The drive system for the Y and Z axes uses precision-ground ball screws of the highest accuracy class. The X axis is driven by a backlash-free, preloaded precision rack and pinion system, ensuring balanced load distribution during positioning. This characteristic is essential to guarantee smooth motion, even in complex operations. All axis movements are performed by brushless AC servomotors. These deliver excellent positioning speeds due to their very short ramp-up times, and their measuring systems are fully integrated. These features make this type of drive completely maintenance-free.

ELECTRICAL/ELECTRONIC CNC CONTROL
The universal system is equipped with a powerful NC control. The integrated office PC brings a unique level of familiarity to the NC control: the software runs on Windows XP, allowing fast and easy programming, which can be quickly mastered even by inexperienced users. The system is open and accommodates the connection of CD-ROM drives, audio cards, barcode scanners, modem, printer, scan systems, etc. Installation of all standard network systems and all commercially available CAD programs is possible.

To save space, the control cabinet is installed beneath the machine table; the operator works at a separate mobile terminal that can be freely positioned.
