Frame construction:
The base structure is a monolithic construction out of thick-walled steel, reinforced throughout the entire machine bed by welded square-section plates, providing exceptional rigidity. The shape of the machine bed, with a broad base, ensures lasting precision and stability. The supporting structure consists of a particularly robust monolithic steel base, heavily ribbed and very rigid; the especially wide footprint is specifically designed to provide stability, guaranteeing consistent accuracy regardless of operating conditions, with no need to anchor the machine to the floor. The base forms a large and solid support for the moving gantry: the working unit therefore benefits from a balanced, stable, and resilient support capable of withstanding maximum loads, ensuring superior performance and higher accuracy.

The moving gantry is made from a solid single piece anchored to the base and runs on high-quality prismatic guides with ball-bearing carriages. The working unit is mounted on it and moves along the Y and Z axes on prismatic guides with ball-bearing carriages. Movement of the lower moving unit (X axis) and the working unit along the moving beam (Y axis) is via a helical rack and pinion system, giving more tooth-to-tooth engagement for greater acceleration and higher speeds along the X and Y axes. The specially designed helical teeth reduce wear and lower mechanical noise.

The vertical Z axis is driven by a ball screw, ensuring perfect balance under dynamic loads and supporting rapid acceleration and deceleration. The main milling unit is directly coupled to the Z-axis slide, ensuring absolute machining quality.
