Marinus Machinery Powermax Chevronline

The Marinus Powermax Chevron was specifically developed for producing tongue and groove profiles on the ends of Hungarian herringbone parquet boards (Chevron).

Multiple wooden parquet boards can be loaded into the input housing, after which the process runs automatically. First, the boards are pre-cut to the correct length and angle in the cross-cut saw unit and then transported via conveyor belt to the Chevron machine. Before profiling occurs, the wood is laterally clamped in a stationary position and pressed against a precise reference surface on top. This ensures high profile accuracy, with no visible edges on the surface when the boards are fitted together.

The two arms that move the profiling heads back and forth are built extremely robustly and are powered by servo motors. This ensures that all boards have exactly the same length and angle. Length and angle adjustments are continuously variable via the user-friendly touchscreen panel.

This clamping system, in combination with two pre-cut aluminum support blocks, effectively prevents breakout and splintering.
