Our SAPI pressure blasting unit, type 'Mammut', with a 60-litre vessel capacity, is suitable for all common blasting media. The blasting pressure can be continuously adjusted from 0.1 to 12 bar using the integrated pressure regulator. A water separator is also permanently installed on the blasting unit; this removes moisture from the compressed air and prevents the blast media from clumping due to excessive humidity.

For safe operation of the sandblasting unit, our safety shut-off is included. This initiates and stops the blasting process by actuating the hand lever mounted on the blast hose.

- Upon restarting, full blast pressure is immediately available at the nozzle, eliminating build-up time—thus, significant reduction in both media consumption and wear on the blast hose
- No moisture (condensate) forms inside the vessel, as it remains pressurised at all times and is not vented with each start/stop. Additional benefits include:
- Optimum media dosing via hardened precision valve
- Lower compressed air requirement, significantly reducing fuel (diesel) consumption
- One-person operation, as vessel pressure is constantly indicated and can be adjusted via the pressure gauge without needing to start the device first
- No sensitive components such as control valves, membranes or gaskets—resulting in low maintenance and reliable operation. Only the blast hose within the safety shut-off needs to be checked and replaced if necessary.
