The appropriate descent speed is achieved using a valve that regulates the oil flow between the cylinders' chambers. - The desired linear speed of the blade is achieved by changing the gear ratio on the pulleys located between the worm gearbox and the drive motor. The coolant tank with an electric pump is situated in the machine base. - Precision and robust build quality place this machine at the top of band saws in its class, with a large cutting capacity of 230 mm and the ability to cut at any angle from 0 to 45 degrees. - The CORMAK BS912N band saw, thanks to innovative improvements and the use of bimetallic blades from a renowned manufacturer, is widely used in all metalworking shops where precision, quality, accuracy, and speed of cutting are crucial. - Cutting angle is set using a swiveling vise, within a range of 0 - 45°. - The solid vise walls are made of durable cast iron. A protractor scale is located at the rear of the vise for convenient and quick angle adjustment. - Both blade guides are equipped with a cooling system that supplies coolant to both the blade and the workpiece. - This model is equipped with a convenient handle for blade tensioning and a quick clamp for the vise (workpiece). - On the machine arm, there is a blade tension indicator, along with a table for selecting blade pitch and cutting speed depending on the type of steel being cut. - In the lower arm position (once the material is cut), the drive of the cutting blade is automatically switched off by a new generation limit switch. - Safety during operation is ensured by an electrical installation compliant with all CE requirements. The machine has a limit switch stopping the machine at the end of the cutting process, an emergency stop (safety mushroom), and a series of micro-switches that deactivate the machine in case, for example, the belt or blade cover is opened. - Additionally, our machine model is equipped with a wire brush that cleans the cutting blade of chips—this prevents the blade from clogging and increases cutting efficiency. - The blade guides are equipped with special carbide plates and bearings, which significantly influence blade guidance, its service life, straightness, cutting accuracy, and quality. - Carbide guidance significantly limits the wear of both the machine and the blade itself! - The arm is made of profiled ductile cast iron, which ensures rigidity during operation and absorbs all types of vibrations. - The control panel is located on the saw arm.
