Oblikovanje kanalov omogoča minimalno hitrost pretoka zraka prek območja procesa, s čimer se podaljšuje lepljivost spajkalne paste in življenjska doba šablon. Zaradi optimizirane zasnove in recirkulacijskega sistema je TCM energetsko učinkovit in za delovanje potrebuje minimalno električno moč iz enofaznega omrežja. Zrak se izpihuje skozi zgornji del TCM, zato povezava z odvodnim sistemom tovarne ni potrebna. TCM se samodejno izklopi po določenem času, če je tiskalnik izklopljen ali če so pokrovi odprti. Za spremljanje temperature procesa TCM uporablja izhod tiskalnikovega integriranega temperaturnega tipala na vozičku, kar omogoča natančen nadzor in povratne informacije. Da bi preprečili kontaminacijo procesa, kondicioniran zrak pred vstopom v tiskalnik potuje skozi filter. Dodatno se možnost onesnaženja zmanjša, saj TCM vzdržuje višji zračni tlak v notranjosti tiskalnika v primerjavi z okolico, zato tujki težje vstopijo. Stanje modula je prikazano z jasno vidno štiribarvno signalno svetilko. Vsak nastali kondenzat je možno izpustiti v odtok ali pa ga zbirati v lahko izpraznljivem 5-litrskem rezervoarju.
