MADREW AE-400

The AE-400 SERVO Edging Machine is designed for longitudinal edging and cutting of side boards fed into the machine at high speeds (100-400 m/min). The machine works directly with infeed and outfeed conveyors, allowing for fully automatic operation.

The machine is equipped with top and bottom board scanners.

The maximum instantaneous output of the edger—up to 50 boards/min—can be achieved when cutting 2.5 m boards to the same width without changing the saw blade spacing. Any adjustment of the edging unit to the board width affects the capacity. Depending on the working configuration, average throughput ranges from 35 to 48 boards per minute.
