Exhibition lathe, available from stock.

After Trens filed for insolvency, we are putting in extra effort and are now overhauling TOS and later Trens lathes to a high standard. Every machine is completely disassembled down to the last screw.

Here is an overview of a complete overhaul process in our facility:

1. Machine cleaning, disassembly of all machine assemblies
2. Grinding: bed, saddle, cross slide, spindle, tailstock quill
3. Grinding and scraping of the compound slide guideways; replacement of the leadscrew with nut and key bar
4. Scraping of the guideways: spindle, saddle, cross slide, and tailstock to geometric positions according to the accuracy protocol
5. Replacement: leadscrew with nut, key bar, and Multifix base body for cross slide (including 2 tool holder cassettes)
6. Complete disassembly and replacement of all necessary spare parts in the apron, gear box, headstock, feed gearbox, tailstock, cross and compound slide
7. Installation or replacement of rack and pinion as needed; repair of leadscrew and feed shaft
8. Complete bearing replacement in all mechanical assemblies
9. Complete replacement of machine nameplates
10. Machine priming, sealing, sanding, polyurethane top coating, and painting of machine accessories – white RAL 9003, anthracite RAL 7016
11. New electrical cabinet with electrical components; replacement of main motor, rapid traverse motor, hydraulic pump, wiring, and LED work area lighting
12. Preparation of the accuracy report and electrical inspection report
13. Inspection and machine acceptance at our premises

All overhauled machines are CE-certified and come with a 12-month warranty.
