Product Innovation: Sawing Line Type "ORIX"

The ORIX sawing line enables fully automatic processing of a wide variety of aluminium profiles. The machine features a sturdy base frame. For the positioning of the saw unit, linear guides and precision carriages are used. The drives are equipped with servo motors. During the cutting process, the saw unit moves forward 300 mm along the Y-axis, making it possible to cut special profiles, plates, as well as Item and Bosch profiles with ease. The support table consists of movable rollers that are automatically positioned according to the required cut length. All rollers are also mounted on precision linear carriages. Additionally, the saw features a robust discharge table where the cut aluminium parts are deposited. (Optionally, cut parts can also be transported directly away on a conveyor belt, including the removal of chips.) The machine is available with a cut length of 6,000 mm, bringing the total length to 7,000 mm. The saw line is delivered with a matching 2-channel minimum quantity spray system. The system can be fitted with either a 400 mm or 600 mm saw blade.

Operating Process
Enter the profile length into the control unit. The saw unit then moves to the specified length. The operator loads the aluminium profile and starts the machine. The saw locates the head cut position via a head cut recognition sensor. The head cut is executed. After cutting, the saw unit retracts and is repositioned to the next specified coordinate to repeat the cutting process.

These operations repeat until the profile has been fully cut. All parts are gently deposited on the discharge table or conveyor belt. Material clamping is performed, as in conventional aluminium saws, by vertical and horizontal clamps directly at the saw unit. Once the profile is cut, the saw unit automatically moves back to the next loading position. The process can then be repeated. Optionally, cross feeders for automated profile feed can be used. For safety, fences or a light curtain can be integrated. The control system is available in two versions: 1) Diethei control, 2) Siemens control. Optional sorting of materials into various containers or by length is also possible.
