4.14.1 Basic Construction

The system is constructed as a closed aluminium profile frame and features a very compact design. The control cabinets are integrated into the lower part of the frame. The main pneumatic valve manifold is mounted behind a service door beneath the control panel.

The system includes four workpiece stop positions. Operation is carried out via a touchscreen. The control panel is mounted on the right side of the frame. A labelling system from Bluhm Weber is installed in the station; for this, the documentation from Bluhm applies accordingly.

4.14.2 Functional Sequence

- The incoming workpiece carriers with IO modules are stopped, lifted (positioned), and contacted in sub-stations 10.1 or 10.2. In these two stations, process...
- In sub-station 10.3, the IO modules are automatically labelled. The labels are generated automatically, as is the application to the devices.
- After labelling, the module is completed in station 10.4, where it is stopped, lifted, and contacted. After finalisation, the workpiece carrier is automatically discharged from the station.
