When installed outdoors, the load capacities are reduced due to wind and snow loads. The floor must be made of concrete, level, and suitable for dowelling, as well as able to bear the applicable loads. Floor conditions and load-bearing capacity, as well as any required official permits, must be checked and ensured by the customer. The uprights must be anchored to the floor on site. Anchoring to the wall is neither necessary nor recommended. According to the employers’ liability insurance association, it is recommended that the uprights have at least a 500 mm overhang above the top storage level.
