Kaltenbach drilling and sawing system—a combined solution for applications in light to heavy steel construction.
This Kaltenbach system allows steel profiles to be drilled, center-punched, and cut to length in a single operation. It processes rolled profiles such as I-beams, T-sections, U-channels, angle steel, hollow sections, and flat steel.

The drilling unit is equipped with an automatic tool changer on three drilling spindles, each accommodating five tool sizes. Tools are positioned with high precision using ball screw drives and servo motors.

The entire system features an integrated length measurement unit.

Kaltenbach HDM 1432 high-performance circular saw—a vertical saw with a swiveling mounting for high cutting capacity in medium and heavy steel sections. Working range at 90° saw cut: 1200 x 450 mm. Mitre adjustment for angled cuts from -45°/90°/+35°. This circular saw system is equipped with a segmented saw blade, diameter 1430 mm. High cutting performance is ensured by a powerful drive system.
