• In 1998, the machine was retrofitted by STÄHLI Germany with SIEMENS PLC control.
All processing parameters, time intervals, and pressure stages for the automatic cycle
are set via the SIEMENS operator panel.
• TESA measuring and control unit TT 20 with sensor guided through the hollow spindle.
The sensor continuously measures during operation and automatically ends the cycle upon reaching the target thickness.
• The machine is currently equipped with fine grinding wheels for double-sided, highly precise fine grinding of flat-parallel workpieces.
• Side-mounted, height-adjustable and swiveling motor-driven dressing device with electromechanical feed.
• Lapping or rinse agent dosing device with container
• Various drive and pressure setting options such as: same direction/opposing direction, single drive, dragging one or both wheels, left-/right-hand rotation, etc.
• Motor-driven height-adjustable planetary drive device for the transport wheels
