The SHARC T power source is a TIG welding machine designed for direct current welding (DC version) and for both direct and alternating current welding (AC/DC version), based on an innovative arc shaping process developed by Hermann GmbH.

In practical use, the SHARC process achieves higher welding speeds while simultaneously improving weld quality and reducing ancillary welding costs (less distortion, improved penetration, reduced discoloration of the workpiece, lower hardening of the transition zones, and, if required, dispensing with additional filler materials).
