The SHARC T power source is a TIG welding machine for direct current welding (DC version) and for both direct and alternating current welding (AC/DC version), based on an innovative arc shaping process developed by Hermann GmbH.

In operation, the SHARC process enables higher welding speeds while simultaneously improving seam quality and reducing ancillary welding costs (less distortion, improved penetration, reduced discoloration on the workpiece, lower hardening of the transitional edge zones, and, if necessary, elimination of filler materials).
