Machine Concept: Weima high-performance shredders, with their flexible applications, can process all types of wood-based materials (hardwood, softwood, chipboard, MDF materials, plywood, veneer waste, etc.) into fuel chips. In doing so, they achieve enormous volume reduction for bulky materials. Operation: Duedpfsvfy Rzex Aplet The machine is equipped with a large feed hopper and can be loaded either via conveyor belt or manually. The hopper can be tailored to individual requirements and ensures a continuous and cost-effective material feed, negating the need for manual intervention. A hydraulically controlled pusher feeds the wood waste to be shredded into the cutting area of the rotor, with automatic, load-dependent control. The internal pusher guides are made from highly wear-resistant plastic (polyamide) and can be adjusted as needed. The hydraulic cylinders are universally mounted to prevent lateral forces on the piston seals. The patented and profiled V-rotor, made of solid steel, has a diameter of 252 mm and operates at a rotor speed of 80–120 rpm. The concave-ground, aggressive, and fourfold indexable knives/cutting crowns are mounted in milled knife pockets on special knife holders. This patented system ensures – for the first time – minimization of the cutting gap between counterknife and rotor, enabling high throughput, low energy consumption, and optimal discharge of shredded material. Power transmission from the electric motors is via V-belts to a heavy-duty gearbox mounted on one end of the rotor shaft.
