The GIF kitchen ventilation ceiling is a fully active wall-to-wall solution featuring large-scale supply and exhaust air zones, integrated lighting, and balancing areas, with an overall installation height of just 200 mm. Utilizing the ceiling cavity as a pressure chamber in compliance with VDI 2052, it can be implemented as an “open” or “closed” system, always retaining the largest possible proportion of air-active surfaces. This ensures comprehensive capture of frying, cooking, and other vapors, as well as wide-area, low-turbulence air supply, guaranteeing a pleasant climate without condensation or drafts. The unique modular system enables maximum transparency and hygiene through a fully reversible design.

The unique modular system offers maximum transparency and hygiene thanks to its fully reversible construction. On the supply air side, the GIF active cassette ceiling is used for low-turbulence, broad-based air supply according to the displacement ventilation principle. Energy efficiency is therefore a standard feature. The special shape guarantees indirect air delivery of even high volumes at low entry velocities, eliminating induction impulses. Since the active cassettes are identical in design for both supply and exhaust sections, they can be exchanged at will.
