The GIF kitchen ventilation ceiling is a fully area-active solution installed wall-to-wall, featuring extensive exhaust and supply air zones, integrated lighting, and compensation areas, requiring only 200 mm installation height. Using the ceiling cavity as a pressure chamber in accordance with VDI 2052, it can be realized as either an "open" or "closed" system, always providing the maximum possible share of ventilation-active surfaces. This allows for large-scale capture of frying, cooking, and other vapors, as well as low-turbulence, wide-area supply air distribution—guaranteeing a comfortable climate without condensation or drafts. The unique modular system ensures maximum transparency and hygiene thanks to a fully reversible construction.

On the supply air side, the GIF Active Cassette Ceiling is used for low-turbulence, extensive supply air delivery in compliance with the layered flow principle, ensuring energy-efficient operation as standard. Its special shape ensures indirect supply air routing of large air volumes at low entry velocities without induction impulses. Since the active cassettes for supply and exhaust air are identical in construction, they can be interchanged as needed.
