Key technical details:
- The bed, supporting the fixed unit and the traversing unit, consists of a tubular steel frame specifically designed for high rigidity against bending and torsion during operation.
- The rail is made from specially developed connecting components with lifetime-lubricated needle bearings to minimize wear.
- The traversing system is equipped with a two-speed motor, allowing the desired setting without manual adjustment. The setting is displayed by a digital readout, which is a standard feature of the TMA.
- The working motors, which are high-frequency motors, are developed and manufactured by Brev. Gabbiani. The tool is mounted directly onto the motor spindle. The rectangular shape of the motors allows for efficient cooling, space savings, small tool diameters, and high reliability.
- The TMA can be equipped with automatic controls that reduce setup times, increase production, and enable faster response to customer requirements.
