This hardening plant is used for induction tempering and surface hardening of wave-shaped workpieces approx. 40 mm Ø x approx. 150 mm high, consisting of:

1 hardening unit with HF transistor inverter FCM 115 kW, 170 – 230 kHz
Twin inductor, vertical stroke approx. 400 mm, horizontally adjustable, current inductor Ø approx. 60 mm, includes quenching spray and pneumatic twin tailstock as a rotating workpiece support,

1 tempering station with transistor inverter FCI-30/50 kW, 10-25 Hz
Twin inductor, vertical stroke approx. 400 mm, horizontally adjustable, current inductor Ø approx. 60 mm, includes quenching spray and pneumatic twin tailstock as a rotating workpiece support, in a stroke combination with:
double post-quenching/cooling station and
hardness testing station, make EDDYLINER PL from IGB, with pneumatic workpiece lifting device, testing is performed with multiple frequencies.

Rotary indexing table with 2 x workpiece holders, driven, and 8 switchable processing stations; the workpieces are automatically loaded and unloaded via a portal loader, make FELSOMAT Type FAZ 300; raw and finished parts are placed on stack pallets for further transport. Electrical check for presence of workpiece.

1 control cabinet with SIEMENS CNC control Type 840 D mounted on the machine, water-cooled main converter, as well as separate inverters for the hardening and tempering stations with ampere/volt/kW displays, separate power cabinet and cooling water/quenching agent recooling system Type RA 200.350 with intermediate tank.
