We offer an unpacking and sieving station as well as an unused drum mixing station from EOS GmbH. This mixing station is specifically designed for use with wide-neck drums and enables efficient mixing of sieved used powder with virgin powder over a defined period. The prepared powder can then be used in EOS Formiga P100 or P110 systems.

The unpacking and processing station consists of:
• an unpacking area
• a sieving unit for used powder
• a feed unit for virgin powder
• and a scale for processing plastic powder.

After removal from the machine, the cooled build frame is placed into the unpacking and processing station.
By gradually raising the build platform using a foot pedal, the powder bed with the printed parts is pushed out of the build frame.
The sintered components are manually unpacked from the powder bed.

Reusable used powder from the powder bed is pushed onto the adjacent perforated sheet and falls through a hose into a sieve bowl.
The used powder is sieved into a powder container, which stands on a scale beneath the sieving unit. The scale allows you to precisely determine the amount of sieved recycled powder.
Afterwards, by rotating the hand crank, a previously determined amount of virgin powder is added to the recycled powder in the container.
The processed plastic powder then needs to be mixed at the mixing station before it can be reused in the build process.

Mixing station
We offer an unused drum mixing station from EOS GmbH. At the mixing station, virgin and recycled powder, filled into powder containers at the unpacking and processing station, are blended. A powder container is rolled or placed onto the mixing station and is then continuously rotated for a preset duration. After the time has elapsed, the mixing station stops, and the powder container can be removed.
