The quality of the INDUSTRIE 230 HD models is apparent from the moment you switch them on: barely audible drive noise. No vibrations even with heavy cutting depths. Indeed, the 230 HD models—at 2,635, 2,835, and 3,055 kg—are the heaviest in their class and, with their extremely robust construction, e.g. induction-hardened bed ways, are perfectly suited for heavy-duty and continuous operation.

The 230 HD offers an extra-large spindle bore at 80 mm for working with bar stock up to 2 1/2" (76.1 mm) in diameter. A swing over cross slide of Ø 290 x 1,000, 1,500, or 2,000 mm and a maximum swing diameter of 460 or 700 mm meet virtually all demands in mechanical engineering, steel fabrication, plant construction, and toolmaking. Also features 12 spindle speeds, 170 longitudinal and cross feeds, and 150 leadscrew thread pitches for both metric and imperial threads.
