Sanding System B Sand 5 with Partial Rotator
Operating Method:
The panel is placed on the infeed table. It enters the partial rotator and is centered. It is sanded in the sanding unit, processed both in forward and return pass. The panel is rotated in the partial rotator. The second side of the panel is then sanded in the sanding machine. There are then two options: either the panel moves to the outfeed table and is unloaded, or it returns to the infeed table and is unloaded there (the second option increases processing time).
Sanding Unit Configuration:
- 1 upper sanding lamella roller, suitable for surfaces. Power: 3 kW; Diameter: 420 mm; Length: 1300 mm.
- Cross brushes suitable for sanding cross-grain fibers. Diameter: 420 mm; Length: 300 mm. Power: 1.1 kW each (2 units).
- 3 upper sanding discs to perfectly cut longitudinal and cross-oriented wood fibers. Power: 1.5 kW each; Diameter: 400 mm.
- Disc brush for chamfering edges. The unit operates as a deep brush. Upon detection of the panel edges, it tracks the door edges. Power: 0.75 kW; Diameter: 250 mm.
Machine Features:
- The unique sanding system of this unit ensures perfect wood sanding and/or intermediate sanding of panels.
- All tools are controlled by frequency inverters.
- All brushes equipped with quick-release sanding strips; replacement does not require changing the hub.
- The discs feature air jets for optimized cleaning and operating time.
- Sanding wheels equipped with hook-and-loop fastening system.
- Feed and rotation are controlled via PLC to prevent edge breaking of workpieces.
- High-quality sanding on 4 sides thanks to the unit’s consistent material removal.
