The function

The TAM 25/600 quickly and precisely separates and cuts ejector pins, ejector sleeves, and punching dies to length. Workpieces with diameters from 0.5 to 25 mm, made from tool steel or carbide, can be processed. Simply place the workpiece into the quick-clamping prism, set the desired finished dimension, and separate and cut to length in a single operation. An additional clamp for extremely thin, short, or shouldered pins is available on request.

After separation, the work table is locked in the final position, the length is measured exactly, and ground to final dimension with the integrated micrometer feed. Wear on the cup wheel is offset by advancing the grinding spindle. Dressing of the wheel is performed automatically via the integrated diamond tool. CBN or diamond wheels are available as optional equipment for the TAM 25/600.
