About the machine:

For sale is a Deckel FP2 universal milling machine in excellent condition. The FP2 comes from the laboratory of a government facility where it was rarely used. The machine exhibits minimal backlash and all spindles move smoothly. Even at maximum speeds, the milling machine runs very quietly. On this later FP2 model, the feed can be infinitely adjusted on all three axes, and rapid traverse is available on every axis. A major advantage is the active 3-axis digital readout. Using the Heidenhain path control, you can enter dimensions that the machine then approaches automatically. An oil change has been performed. Mechanically and electrically tested. The Heidenhain digital readout makes work easier and even more precise. You are welcome to inspect and test the machine under power on site.
