Construction and Technology:

The CORMAK MM3156C drum sander is engineered for industrial applications. The reinforced sanding shaft construction, high-quality bronze bushings, and feed belt tensioners guarantee long service life and stable, play-free operation. The reinforced clutch ensures effective torque transfer from the 1.5 kW motor to the working shaft. The machine features variable feed adjustment within the range of 0–3 m/min, enabling the machining speed to be matched to material type and sanding requirements.

The table guidance system, equipped with hardened rails and a cast-iron frame, effectively eliminates vibration and increases the rigidity of the entire structure. The 560 mm working width and maximum workpiece height of 80 mm make this sander optimal for both batch production and precise individual tasks.

Precision and Performance:

The CORMAK MM3156C through-feed drum sander delivers industrial-level precision thanks to its design optimized for rigidity, guidance, and vibration damping. The minimum workpiece thickness is 3.5 mm, and the minimum length is 600 mm. The sanding drum (133 × 560 mm) allows for accurate and uniform removal of layers up to 0.5 mm thick. An extraction port Ø100 mm is included for connecting to a dust extraction system, ensuring a clean work environment.
