CORMAK IMET CUBO 400NC FLAT

Model CUBO 400 NC is a state-of-the-art band saw that ensures operator safety with a guard system made of specially designed metal sheets, protecting all four sides and all moving parts of the saw. The guard system allows full access to the machine and makes maintenance easy.

An innovative and user-friendly 7" touchscreen with an intuitive interface offers complete control over all machine settings. It allows programming of up to 99 cutting programs and 10 different cutting lengths on the same bar.

CNC control provides access to all machine operating functions: automatic blade thickness calculation, stroke repetition count, band speed, and blade descent speed. The interface also displays CUBO operating status and enables error diagnosis via an auto-diagnosis feature.

The integrated feeder enables automatic repetition of the cutting process. The feeder moves on a hardened and chromed guide; high positioning accuracy is ensured by a precise feed using a backlash-free ball screw (self-braking) mounted on a floating plate to absorb loads from irregular bars.

The saw body features a rigid cast-iron structure made of square-section tubing, providing excellent resistance to deformation and improved performance with all types of material. The arc is equipped with an endless screw and a high-resistance bronze alloy crown.

A mechanical material detection device ensures rapid blade approach to the material, automatically detecting the first cutting point. The end cut is controlled by a microswitch on the blade guide, allowing ideal band positioning thanks to hardened metal pads and additional bearings.

IMET automatic machines can be connected to the company network and operated remotely using the SAWFACTORY system and modem. SAWFACTORY is dedicated software that enables cut-process management from the office, including program setup and live monitoring via a web application. The software also allows for remote technical support.
