The pump is not suitable for:
Water, food industry and non-corrosive media. More cost-effective materials such as 1.4408 or 1.4571 are better suited for these media.

The pump is made from the special alloy Alloy 59!!
This alloy is used when conventional chromium-nickel steels are no longer sufficiently resistant to corrosion—especially when chloride-induced pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking are concerns.

Alloy 59 is used in environmental technology, the chemical industry (chemical processes involving oxidizing and reducing acids, resistance to wet chlorine gas), and waste incineration plants. Primarily, 2.4605 is used in the chemical industry, the pulp and paper industry, and in flue gas desulfurization systems.

Outstanding resistance to mineral acids such as nitric, phosphoric, sulfuric, and hydrochloric acids—particularly to mixtures of sulfuric and hydrochloric acids.
