HAND GUARD is based on early hazard detection and protects the operator from injuries, functioning at all times. The camera-monitored system first gives the user a visual warning to indicate potential danger. If the risk persists, the saw blade is lowered without damaging the machine or the material. HAND GUARD supports the processing of various materials such as wood, metal, and plastic.

• Max. 500 mm saw blade diameter can be fully retracted as standard underneath a single-side tilting saw unit. Tilting range: 0 - 46°, equipped with quick-change system for the main saw blade. Motorized height and tilt adjustment and a maximum blade protrusion of 179 mm. (Partial removal of the scoring unit tool may be required)
Additionally, the eye-level control panel allows you to adjust the height and tilt of the saw blade, and depending on the control package, access further functions such as speed adjustment. The new, clear industrial design underscores Altendorf's exceptional position: this panel saw combines distinctive design with timeless aesthetics. The Altendorf double roller carriage is renowned for its smooth operation and precise guidance. It can be locked steplessly in any position. The large double rollers keep the upper and lower carriage precisely aligned on their respective guide bars. This excellent running quality is maintained even after decades of heavy use and contamination. The carriage design provides exceptional torsional and structural rigidity. Also included is a front support roller 300 mm wide, helpful when cutting long workpieces at the rip fence, positionable at 90° under the double roller carriage.
