In production lines for multi-layer parquet, this machine is typically placed after the press, allowing the parquet strips coming from the press to be directly transferred to the Zefiro grooving machine, where channels are milled/sawn into the plywood backing.

These grooves on the underside ensure that the finished parquet strips are more flexible and elastic. As a result, the parquet is less susceptible to warping, which is usually caused by moisture. This significantly improves the quality of the parquet flooring.
