Opis
WSM Stationary Screwdriving Unit Screwdriving Station
Assembly of components for car radios and navigation systems, as well as testing these units.
The assembly station is enclosed by a protective housing.
The service doors are equipped with monitored locking switches (interlocks).

During automatic operation, the doors are locked and can only be opened during an automatic stop or in manual mode after pressing the 'Door' button on the control panel. Automatic operation cannot be started when a door is open.
Functional Sequence
The station is loaded via the transfer conveyor with the pre-assembled module.
Below is a description of the steps performed in the automatic station during the processing of one workpiece carrier (WT).
In normal operation, all 3 stations run in parallel.
- Positioning the WT with the pre-assembled module in station 2.1
- Lowering of the carrier with the scanner and vision sensor
- Scanning the 3 codes (front panel, front PCB, SD PCB), cross-check with the database
- Verifying correct latching of the FFC (flexible flat cable) in the connector
- Raising the carrier and lowering the WT onto the conveyor belt
- Positioning the WT with the pre-assembled module in station 2.2
- Positioning the screwdriver and fastening the front PCB
- Lowering the WT onto the conveyor belt
- Positioning the WT with the pre-assembled module in station 2.3
- Lowering the light protection hood and contacting, moving the carrier with the test sensors from below
- Type-specific testing of the illumination of SD + CD slots and keys
- Function test of the CD eject button
- Lowering the WT onto the conveyor belt > continue
If errors occur during testing, they are displayed on the screen and can be rectified if possible.
To do this, switch to manual mode and open the doors. After repair and restarting automatic operation, the WT is checked again in the station.
If repair is not possible (e.g., screwdriving error), the WT is marked as NIO (not OK) in the control system and is no longer processed.
Manual NIO marking and discharge is also possible.
