The temperature shock test assesses the resilience of components, devices, and other products against rapid ambient temperature fluctuations. Test specimens are subjected to swift changes in air temperature, with varying upper and lower temperature loads. Through these cyclic loads and the accelerated aging caused by temperature variation, material weaknesses can be detected.
