In combination with the Scharmüller crossmember and drawbar, the following coupling loads are possible:
- Trailers with full air brake system: 21,000 kg
- Trailers with overrun brake: 3,500 kg
- Trailers without brakes: 750 kg
- Central axle trailers: 13,000 kg + 1,000 kg vertical load
=> This makes the U5023 a multifunctional towing vehicle, able to handle car trailers, central axle trailers, as well as traditional turntable trailers, with the right hitch for any height!
=> Perfect for operating your crane, as the Unimog has a short wheelbase, making it ideal for towing long trailers.
=> Our special edition is also equipped with a crawler gear group: ideal for maneuvering, as this allows extremely gentle clutch operation and precise speed selection when needed.
