The machine is currently disassembled and undergoing repair within the following scope:
- Complete disassembly and cleaning
- Inspection of all components
- New Tribotec lubrication unit
- Overhaul of the independent balancing circuit of the console
- Milling head “O” – complete overhaul including gear replacement
- Replacement of gearbox bearings
- Replacement of belts
- Repair of ball screws and their mounts
- Resealing of hydraulic circuits throughout the machine and replacement of solenoid valves
- Addition of automatic gear lubrication in the milling head
- Resealing of all hydraulic cylinders and seal modernization
- Overhaul of the hydraulic power unit
- Overhaul of Indramat feed motors and spindle motor
- Repair and alignment of Indramat drives
- Overhaul of the electrical cabinet with control elements
- Replacement and modernization of limit switches throughout the machine
- Repair or replacement of cabling for the Heidenhain i TNC 426 system
- Overhaul of the operator panel
- Overhaul of the Heidenhain i TNC 426 control system including keyboard and display unit
- The machine will be fully functional with geometric accuracy confirmed by protocol
- New paintwork, in RAL 5005 and RAL 9010 color scheme
