Measure viscosity precisely with the Thermo falling ball viscometer – requires no electricity, only a stopwatch.
It enables precise measurement of the viscosity of transparent Newtonian fluids and gases.
Measuring principle:
A ball moves in a rolling and sliding motion inside an inclined cylindrical tube filled with the test liquid. The time taken for the ball to traverse a defined measuring distance is recorded.
By tilting the measuring section, the return path of the ball can also be used for measurement.
The result is displayed as dynamic viscosity in mPa·s.
