The Electra 2.0 evos is not only the larger counterpart of the Electra 1.0 in terms of size as a 2 m³ fully electric street sweeper, but it also surpasses in specifications. Like the 1.0, the 2.0 is fully electric and is the most energy-efficient machine in its class. To reinforce this, the brakes regenerate energy, the machine features a 48-volt electric system, and utilizes the same CAN-BUS system as the Electra 1.0. Notably, the 2.0 is 92% recyclable, resulting in minimal environmental impact. Besides the larger waste container, the Tenax Electra 2.0 evos offers a cabin that seats two, a fresh water tank with an impressive 400-liter capacity, and easy switching between two-wheel steering (drive mode) and four-wheel steering (work mode). The machine was introduced in 2018.

The operating time of the machine is 8 to 10 hours, including use of air conditioning and/or heating. This has been confirmed in various tests, including in Rotterdam.

The Tenax Electra 2.0 evos is the only sweeper in the world with a 48-volt electrical system, which is the lowest voltage available. As a result, there are no special requirements for the workshop and no specialized personnel training is needed. Add the CAN-BUS system, which allows for easy machine diagnostics, and you have an exceptionally user-friendly street sweeper.
