2.1 Intended Use
The RFID read/write device RFU630-041xx is an intelligent 4Dpro sensor from the RFU6xx (UHF) product family. Version (operating range): Long Range.
The stationary device automatically identifies radio-based data carriers (transponders) on moving or stationary objects. It also supports the management of these data carriers.
The compact read/write device uses up to 4 external antennas to process data from all common passive transponders according to ISO/TEC 18000-6C and EPCglobal UHFC1G2 in the region-specific UHF carrier frequency range. The device does not contain an integrated (internal) antenna.
Intelligent process logic allows for either stand-alone operation or grouped network operation. The reading results are transmitted by the device via its host interface to a central computer. The computer coordinates further data processing within the workflow.
Through its host interface, the device also receives corresponding commands for the management of the data carriers (writing, reading, etc.).
