2.1 Intended Use
The RFID reader/writer RFU630-041xx is an intelligent 4Dpro sensor of the RFU6xx (UHF) product family. Version (operating range): Long Range.
The stationary device automatically identifies radio-based data carriers (transponders) on moving or stationary objects. The device also supports the management of the data carriers.
This compact reader/writer processes data from up to 4 external antennas covering all common passive transponders according to ISO/IEC 18000-6C and EPCglobal UHFC1G2 within the region-specific UHF carrier frequency range. The device does not have an integrated (internal) antenna.
Intelligent process logic allows operation as a stand-alone solution or networked in grouped mode. The read results are transmitted via its host interface to a higher-level computer, which coordinates further data processing in the workflow.
Via its host interface, the device receives corresponding commands for data carrier management (write, read, etc.).
