Bolted, welded, and horizontal silos are used for the storage of cement, fly ash, bentonite, and other bulk materials.

Welded silos
Welded silos are preferred for smaller storage capacities. They can be installed and put into operation within 2 hours using a crane. These silos are primarily used in local applications where transport costs are not a significant factor. Semix has the capability to manufacture welded silos with capacities ranging from 50 to 150 tons.

Bolted silos
Bolted silos are preferred for their compactness in transport. They can be shipped in containers to minimize transportation costs. Thanks to their modular design, Semix is able to manufacture bolted silos with capacities ranging from 100 to 2,000 tons. Semix provides a mechanical specialist to ensure proper assembly of the bolted silo. Semix has already installed bolted silos in Peru, Israel, Germany, and the United Kingdom.
