Machine bed:
Manufactured from high-grade cast iron: the guideways are hardened and precisely machined. The machine bed serves as a guide for the tailstock and carriage, and as a mounting base for the steady rest. The forces generated during turning are absorbed by the machine bed.

Tailstock:
The tailstock provides support for large workpieces or for shaft machining between centers.

Feed gearbox:
Positioning of the X and Z axes is achieved by high-dynamic digital AC servo motors. These are controlled by the CNC system. Incremental encoders ensure precise measurement. They are coupled to the driven end of the ball screw spindles.
