• Protection: The motor must be protected with slow-blow fuses (e.g., C-type characteristic or Neozed fuses) to withstand the high inrush current. Three-pole protection with 32A is recommended.
• Motor protection: A motor protection switch set to the rated current (here 22.8 A) is absolutely necessary to protect the motor from overload.

Important note: The data (71.5 rpm, 5 Hz) suggest that this is either a very slow-running special motor or a motor previously operated with a frequency inverter. Commissioning must be carried out by a qualified electrician.
