The separator divides light and heavy fractions using a pneumatic method. It is suitable for a wide range of waste materials with particle sizes from 0 to 150 mm. This type of air separator is used for pre-shredded, torn, or very fine materials. Thanks to our unique design, the separator features multi-point adjustment options that are crucial for the purity of the obtained fractions. Pedoua D Alepfx Aczopl ZIGZAG type separators are utilized in many fields: - density classification of metal granules - cleaning shredded scrap from light fractions (films, plastics, paper) - removal of floating fractions during WEEE recycling - cleaning of plastics, rubber - cleaning of municipal waste and glass - dust removal Construction Description: The ZIGZAG separator consists of individual components mounted on a common support structure. In the first section, the ZIGZAG module is installed. The module features an inspection opening and an adjustable material stream gap. In the second section, there is a cyclone for extracting light fractions. Below the cyclone is a rotary valve with variable speed for the discharge of separated materials. At the top of the assembly is a fan with electronic speed control. The design is partially prepared for loading and unloading via belt conveyors. The separator comes with a control cabinet equipped with a safety system.

The bags were opened by the bag opener, and the waste was conveyed in controlled portions for further processing. The plant functioned flawlessly until dismantling and was replaced by a larger system with higher throughput capacity. Notes: The machine is currently undergoing refurbishment in our workshop. The photographs show the machine in its current refurbishment phase; therefore, the unit is not yet fully assembled. Upon completion of refurbishment, scheduled for February 2025, the machine will be tested in operation (without material input).
