The PORĘBA TR-135 lathe is a universal machine tool designed for both rough and precision machining. It is particularly well-suited for turning shafts and heavy, large-size workpieces.

The offered machine is currently undergoing a complete overhaul – the last photo shows its current stage. The remaining images display TR-series lathes after full refurbishments carried out by our company and delivered to end users – these serve as a reference for the target quality and workmanship standard.

Scope of the general overhaul:
- Complete disassembly of the lathe
- Refurbishment and replacement of worn components
- Calibration of trapezoidal lead screws and manufacturing of new bronze nuts
- Replacement of bearings and sliding bushings, including installation of new spindle bearings

- Grinding of bedways, carriage and compound rest guides, followed by scraping of mating surfaces (utilizing abrasive materials)
- Refurbishment of the tailstock quill
- Refurbishment of the tool post
- Overhaul and modernization of the lubrication and cooling systems
- Electrical scope: installation of a new control cabinet, complete new wiring of the machine, and replacement of all electrical components with new ones
- Inspection of electric motors along with replacement of bearings
- New paintwork
- Upon completion of the overhaul: trial assembly, preliminary acceptance at our facility, machine installation on foundation, leveling, and final acceptance
- Adaptation of the lathe to at least the minimum safety requirements in accordance with current EU Directives
