The machine is positioned in a pit.

Condition Description:
The Carnaghi's cross roller bearing was replaced about half a year ago.
The Siemens components in the control cabinet were also completely renewed at the end of 2023.
Furthermore, the machine features a touch probe for tool measurement and an external Renishaw touch probe for workpiece measurement.
As an additional feature, the machine has a touch probe on the Z-axis (Z1-axis), providing an accuracy and time advantage since the tool does not need to be put down for measurement. However, this is currently deactivated and should be overhauled before recommissioning.
In addition, the machine is equipped with a Rotomors six-jaw compensating chuck with centrifugal force compensation, which was completely overhauled in 2020/21.
